A Message from Pastor Harvey

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. Welcome to our website! Bethel Second Baptist Church Family is a community of baptized believers who are striving to live out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20), to Go, Teach, and Baptize. We exist to help you build a life-changing relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through the study, teaching, and proclaiming of God’s authoritative, infallible, and inerrant Word.

Since the Lord has blessed you to see another New Year. Could it be that He wants you to know that you can be free in 2024. How is this possible? Knowing the truth makes you free. Contrary to today’s ideology about truth, Jesus identifies what truth is for us. He is the way, the “Truth,” and the life. Jesus also tells us that His Word is truth (John 17:17). An important thing to remember about the truth is, truth does not change. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews13:8). I challenge you to seek to know the truth for yourself; but remember, the truth is not a set of principles, but a person, Jesus the Christ. If the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed!
