A Message from Pastor Harvey

​Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. Welcome to our website. Bethel Second Baptist Church Family is a community of baptized believers who are striving to live out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20), to make disciples; Go, Teach, and Baptize. At Bethel, we embrace the mindset of One Church, One Team, and One Mission. This attitude guides us towards fulfilling God’s divine purpose and will. The Word of God in 1 Corinthians 12:12 also reinforces unity and diversity in one body.

 

It is because of His grace that Christ has allowed us to see a New Year. Our church theme for 2026 is Jesus is Still Looking for Laborers (are you available)? The scripture reference is Matthew 9:35-38. I want to challenge you to seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near and get connected to a Bible believing, Bible teaching church where you can find your purpose and grow in your relationship with the LORD. Your life will only be as strong as the foundation you build it on. You cannot have a happy life until you know your purpose, and you cannot know your purpose until you know the God who created you.
